
Alan
Huttmann - President and CEO
Alan has served as President and CEO since 1992. Alan has over 26
years of progressive transportation experience in both LTL and Truckload.
He began his career in Sales and Operations for several national
LTL carriers. In 1987, he was promoted to a senior management position
with USF Reddaway. In 1992, he purchased HA Transportation and then
in 1996, started HA Logistics’ to meet increasing customer
demand for supply chain management services. Alan is an active member
of the Council of Logistics Management, TIA and TCA.
Dennis Appelbaum, Chief Financial Officer
Dennis joined HA Logistics in June 2004 with over 30 years of experience in worldwide business management, development and financial operations. He began with a full career in senior financial roles at Chevron Corporation internationally. At Material Sciences Corporation he led the financial organization. His experience spans a number of disciplines including Risk Management, Logistics, Systems, Relationship Management and Organization to facilitate the growth and effectiveness of businesses in transition. In one role, as CFO for the largest construction project on the planet, he led operational teams in organizational development, leadership team effectiveness, cost control and project execution. Recently he has focused on improving cash flow and profitability for mid-size organizations. Clients have included the public sector, technology, manufacturing, sales and services. Dennis holds an MBA from the Graduate School of Business (Marshall) at the University of Southern California and a BS from the University of California at Los Angeles School of Business (Anderson).
Robert Montiero, Executive Vice President
Robert brings over 16 years of professional management experience in the areas of logistics, transportation and distribution. He has extensive experience with non-asset and asset based companies including supply chain services, third party logistics, brokerage, Truckload, less than truckload, expedited freight services, cross dock implementation, business development and sales. Previously Robert served as the Director of Purchase Transportation and Operations for Pacer Global Logistics. Prior to Pacer, Robert was the Area Manager for Matheson Fast Freight where he managed three terminals in Northern California.
